Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka was born in Jamshedpur (India) on July 18 1982. While in the high school system, Chopra won the Miss India pageant, and she shortly after that won the 2000 Miss World pageant as well. After that international triumph, Chopra turned her sights at the world of film and soon became a major player within the Bollywood system. American television helped her become an instant star with Quantico which is an FBI drama that aired from 2015-2018. She also made headlines because of her marriage to Nick Jonas in December 2018. The first Bollywood film, The Hero - Love Story of a Spy was released in 2003. She also appeared in Andaaz that year, which launched the film industry with a series of films like Plan, Kismat and Asambhav. While most of them did not make it to the top of the charts, Chopra's romantic comedic Mujhse Karogi was a huge success. At the age of twenty, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 film Thamizhan and followed it the same year with Jeet born to Win. On her debut, Chopra was clear: "I hated it!" she has said. "I wanted it to end once I was done with it!" I didn't understand the process I was taking." Nick Jonas and Chopra announced their relationship during summer 2018. The announcement of their engagement came out in July. According to reports, Jonas proposed to Chopra on Chopra's 36th birthday. The couple was married in an extravagant and multi-day event which began on the 1st of December, 2018.
