Elizabeth Leigh Vassey
American actress Elizabeth Leigh Vassey was born on August 9 in 1972. She is well-known for her roles as Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms was in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001. She also played Wendy Beaumont, in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey played the role of a teenage Emily Ann Sago on the soap series All My Children from 1988 to 1991. From 2004 until 2005, she was regular roles on the show Tru Calling as Dr. Carrie Allen.She was featured in several episodes on the sitcom Two and a Half Men. The episode "The Most Important Thing You'd Like to Do is to Get a Hump" in 2003, she appeared in "Twanging Your Magic Clanger" and "The Crazy Bitch Gazette" (2011) as well as in "Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt" (the season premiere with Ashton Kutcher).From 2005 to in 2010, Vassey was a regular character in the role of Wendy Simms on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Starting with the tenth season, Vassey was promoted to an actor on the regular roster and was first featured in the show's opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported that Vassey was not returning for the eleventh season. She appeared on one episode of the season.Vassey appeared in a cameo appearance on Joss Whedon's musical on the web, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and was referred to as "Fury Leika". Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, along with co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company named Neurosis to the T(ee) which creates and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans make fun of female anxieties and fears. They typically refer to relationships.
