Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo is a Golden Globe nominated
film, stage and television actor. Her birthplace was in Dallas, Texas and
raised in New Jersey. In 2000, she was cast in a breakout role in Coyote Ugly.
Since then, she's been seen in such films as Christopher Nolan's "The
Prestige" with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, "Because I Said
So" with Diane Keaton and "First Snow", with Guy Pearce,
"Cheaper by the Dozen" films starring Steve Martin, "Imagine Me
and You" featuring Lena Heady and Matthew Goode and the crime thriller
"10th and Wolf" featuring an ensemble cast including James Marsden
and Dennis Hopper. She starred alongside Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon Levitt,
Emily Blunt and Jeff Daniels in Rian Johnson's sci-fi action flick
"Looper.". Perabo was Annie Walker's TV part in five seasons of the
spy drama on USA Network "Covert Affairs." Then she starred as a
co-star in ABC's 2016 legal drama "Notorious. The show will air on Netflix
as "Turn Up Charlie" and starring with IdrisElba. She also made her
Broadway debut in Neil LaBute's controversial production "Reasons to be
Pretty", which was nominated for the Tony Award for the Best Play. Outside
of her stage and screen, Perabo is also an activist. Perabo is a Voice for the
International Rescue Committee in raising awareness of refugees' plight around
the world and supporting those who are affected by persecution of religion or
conflict, as well as oppression by the state. Piper resides in Los Angeles and
New York City. In 1994, the Toms River High School North class graduated Piper.
She performed in the four annual musicals she attended during high school. Her
senior year she played Katie in "Meet Me in St. Louis;" junior year,
Cousin Fan in "Mame;" sophomore year, Lady Brighton in "Me and My
Girl;" as well as freshman year, a dancer in "How to Be Successful in
business Without Really Trying." She was also the high school president
for the National Honor Society as well as the editor for the school's literary
magazine, Polaris. At the time of her high school graduation she was part of
the Marinerettes as a dancer in the field show that was held during football
matches.
